Problem statement: Hunger and Food Insecurity
“Hunger is not an issue of charity. It is an issue oy families for whom there is much difficult to get even a one-time of food in a day.
At that time, due to the Dearness in our country With the poor people, also the middle-class people have to face this. Pakistan is the third country in the world where millions of people sleep without eating food and on the other hand, millions of people waste food and hungry people keep looking at this food.
A hungry person is not a free person. Food is the basic need of humans. But the main question that arises here is Why we can’t control Hunger? Somewhere in the country, someone is dying of hunger like the Tharparkar where Every year, hundreds of people die in the area owing to food insecurity and malnutrition.
Food is the basic necessity of every human being. When a man does not get food then he resists every doing. He can do whatever he has to do to get the food, For example, Someone can Commit Suicide and Someone goes crazy. Someone becomes a terrorist and some can start doing something wrong. Someone can start to resort to drugs and some can start to sell the drugs.
Food insecurity is defined as the disruption of food intake or eating patterns because of a lack of money and other resources. For example, people with type 2 diabetes may find themselves limited to purchasing inexpensive, high-calorie, nutritionally poor foods (e.g., foods high in refined carbohydrates) instead of foods that are more healthful, such as vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Food insecurity is associated with low incomes.
Causes of Food Insecurity:
One of the major causes of Food Insecurity of food is the wastage of food. Almost 50% of the food is wasted in our society. Other Causes Include:

Effects of Food Insecurity:
Food Insecurity has a major effect on the malnutrition of children. Other includes:

I want to build an organization that has decision making power to earn money and help the families. For the people who are unemployed, I can help them to learn some skills to start their own small earning point. To overcome Hunger, we should distribute food items among the needy from the money we collect from the people. For Food insecurity, we conduct awareness seminars among the people so that they know the importance of food and should stop wasting the food. If there’s some food remain after eating, everyone should consider his responsibility not to waste that food but to give it to the needy.
This is my idea for my mega project, there are many other issues in our country but I think it is a very important issue and is related to my field so that I can contribute to that issue in a better way.
